Christmas Eve was our busy day this year. In the morning we were glad to see we still had some snow from the blizzard the week before.
Off we went to Grandma and Grandpa Lehndorfers house. For the first time in years we actually had a fire in the fireplace. A staple when Daddy was growing up. Isaac loved playing the Nintendo and Rebekah warmed up to Chewy (the dog) rather quickly.
Grandpa Karl helping Isaac opening a gift.
Grandma Linda made all the grandkids beautiful scarves.
Isaac was elated with his new WALL-E toys.
Rebekah also loved hers but appeared to be slightly more excited.
We all rotated one seat to make Mommy laugh.
Not much left of our snowman. Just the buttons, arms and nose.
Then we went back home for Christmas Eve at our home with Tori’s family. Unfortunately, Angi and her family stayed home because they thought they might get stuck due to another storm.
Rebekah didn’t want to keep waiting to open the presents.
Bama was all smiles with her granddaughters.
Papa tried to get the kids to smile and sit still but to no avail.
What a surprise. A baby for Rebekah.
The usual new pajamas.
It was a wonderful day. The children loved every bit of it. This makes for a very good schedule. We visit the families on Christmas Eve and have Christmas Day at home.
